Russia takes tongue twisters more seriously than any country on earth. Skorogovorki ("fast-sayings") are formal curriculum in every Russian theater school — actors drill them daily for years, and diction coaches grade auditions on them. The Russian method treats twisters as precision work, not speed work: the canonical instruction is to say each one at quarter speed with exaggerated articulation for weeks before ever accelerating. Speed without placement, the coaches say, just trains fast mush.
